FULL TEEN PROGRAM - This is the complete course. 30 - Hour Classroom (includes the 8 - Hour Safe Driving Practices Course (aka: Drug & Alcohol) and the Parent/Student class), in addition to 8 - Hours of Behind-the-Wheel training.

The student will receive thirty-hours of classroom instruction - which includes the State - Mandated 8 - Hour Safe-Driving Course and the Parent/Student class-and eight-hours of private behind - the - wheel training.

The student can enroll online for their driving hours that best-suits the student’s schedule. On weekend driving hours, the student will be picked-up and dropped-off at their house. During the week, students will meet their Driving Instructor at the convenient, pre-determined pick-up and drop-off locations based upon the town in which they enrolled for Driver Education.

By successfully completing the Full-Program, the student can test for her/his license after holding their Learner’s Permit for 120 (one-hundred and twenty) days.

8-HOUR SAFE DRIVING PRACTICES COURSE (Drug & ALCOHOL AND PARENT/STUDENT CLASS) : This package is the Connecticut State-Mandated 8-Hour Safe-Driving Course and the Parent/Student course.

PRIVATE DRIVING HOURS: The student will enroll online for their driving hours that best-suits the student’s schedule.

On weekend driving hours, the student will be picked-up and dropped-off at their house. During the week, students will meet their Driving Instructor at the convenient, pre-determined pick-up and drop-off locations based upon the town in which they enrolled for Driver Education.

With this program, a student must either have completed the 8-Hour Safe-Driving Practices course or the 30-Hour Classroom course.

All instruction in any of our offerings is performed by State of Connecticut DMV-Certified Instructors.

OFF-SITE TEST: The DMV administers the Behind-the-Wheel test at our school’s location. Students will take the test using our car and on the local roads surrounding the School’s location. They are to report to the Off-Site Test location with their Learner’s Permit by 7:50 AM on the morning of the Test. Upon the successful completion of the Test, the student will then take the Knowledge Test at the DMV branch aligned with that school’s location:

Bridgeport DMV----Huntington Off-Site Test (Shelton Community Center).
Danbury DMV----Newtown (NYA), New Milford (New Milford United Methodist
Church (68 Danbury Road, New Milford), and Danbury (War
Memorial) Off-Site Tests.

The student must wait two business days after taking the Off-Site Test before going to the DMV for the Knowledge Test.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Classroom sessions will follow that town's High School schedule. If school is canceled for inclement weather, or dismissed early for inclement weather, Driving School classes will automatically be canceled for that day and all class session numbers will be advanced by one day.

Behind-the-wheel instruction hours will be canceled automatically on a day where there is early dismissal from that town's High School for inclement weather or if the High School is closed for the day due to inclement weather.
